Les Maux, a charming estate in the heart of Quercy Blanc
Nestling near Lauzerte, this fully-renovated 19th-century farmhouse is set in over a hectare of grounds. Domaine de Maux can accommodate up to nineteen people in its two houses - Petit Maux and Grand Maux.
The smaller house, Petit Maux, is currently being renovated and will be available for the 2025 season. Situated just a few metres from the main building, this new addition provides accommodation for 6 people, ideal for families or friends wishing to enjoy a private space while being close to other guests. Although each house offers its own space, the kitchen and dining areas of Grand maux, the main building, are designed to accommodate up to nineteen guests.
Large tree-lined areas.
Welcomed by a hundred-year-old oak tree, the estate has a rich heritage of trees typical of the region and vast meadows. You'll find plenty of refuges from which to admire the countryside and its bucolic scenery. The garden, designed with several terraced areas, offers a pleasant sense of privacy and invites you to take a stroll.
To each his own outdoor space.
You can enjoy 6 well-exposed terraces - two of which are covered, for protection from the vagaries of the weather - with large tables, chairs and parasols, as well as more intimate areas around benches scattered throughout the garden. One of the terraces has been specially designed to accommodate nineteen guests.
Sunbathing and swimming.
A little way from the house, the 36 m² swimming pool - salt purified and secured by a fence - awaits you, with sun loungers and parasols, for some well-deserved idleness.
Plenty to keep you entertained.
In addition to the large meadows suitable for ball games, there is a badminton net and rackets, petanque balls and a basketball hoop and ball. There is a tennis court in the nearby village. For nature lovers, hiking trails and fishing spots are within easy reach.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Bed linen is provided. Bathroom linen is provided, including one large towel per person, plus small towels and flannels. Pool towels are not provided.
The pool measures 4 x 9 metres and is 1.5 metres deep. It is treated with salt. The pool is cleaned several times during your stay, depending on the weather conditions.
A baby bed is available in each house and a foldable baby bed is available on request. You will also find other baby equipment in the houses. Do not hesitate to ask me for more details.
Gîte with internet connection. You will normally have very good mobile network reception on the grounds and in the house.
Pets are welcome at the cottage for a fee of 40 euros per pet. Please note that the estate is not fenced. Please note that any additional cleaning of the house or garden will be charged to the security deposit. Assistance dogs are allowed, at no extra cost.
Some basic necessities are provided as extras for the start of your stay: toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, sponge, some teas, herbal teas and coffee, etc.
The house and its surroundings have not been adapted for people with motor disabilities, the deaf or hard of hearing, the visually impaired or the blind. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information about the configuration of the house and its surroundings.
Fans are available in the accommodation, especially to cool the upper floor of Grand Maux. The rest of the rooms in both houses stay very cool. The cottage is not equipped with heating or air conditioning.
A first aid kit, a fire alarm and a fire extinguisher are available in the accommodation.
Up to 6 vehicles can be parked at the gîte.
I will be there to welcome you when you arrive and leave the cottage.
Cleaning before and after your stay is included in the cost of your stay.
A Weber family BBQ is available with barbecue utensils.
Domaine de Maux is committed to preserving our environment. We encourage you to reduce your consumption of water and electricity during your stay, to consume local products in a local circuit, to recycle your rubbish and much more. You will find more information on the measures taken in the gîte in the welcome booklet.

The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, so you'll have everything you need to prepare all your recipes.
Inside, you can gather around two tables: the first, in the dining room, seats 12, while the second, an old farm table in the kitchen, can accommodate up to eight additional guests.
Outside, five terraces surround the two houses, one of which is specially designed to accommodate up to 19 people for al fresco dining.
